Sir Bruno Gosselin’s dream to offer the unique taste of a home made jam to his customers became reality in 1998.

Situated in Quebec city and bordering upon l’Ancienne-Lorette, this new SME hires 5 to 10 employees depending on the season and the needs of the company.

To launch a new product on the market constitutes a rather important challenge for our company. We see that reflected in the product design, the originality of the presentation, the perfect quality of the content and container, and, last but not least, the exquisite taste that comes out emanates from it.

Furthermore, supplying the raw materials, elaborating a distribution network, abiding to governmental norms and maintaining the financial capacity of the company are other important aspects to be taken into consideration.

It takes courage, determination and, of course, a little bit of boldness to implant a craftsman’s product between two fire of a fight lead by some national brands on the jam shelves of big grocers.

Nevertheless, the success and the establishment of “Les Caprices d’Antan” go on and on, in course of time, throughout the whole province of Quebec, giving evidence to the fact that the customer is the ultimate judge of the value of a new product.
